Hailing from Texas and now making waves in Los Angeles, Adelaide Pilar seamlessly blends her Latina, Mexican American roots with musical prowess as a professional vocalist and trumpeter.

With a Master's Degree in Afro-Latin Music and a Bachelor’s in Jazz Studies, she embodies diverse musical traditions and transcends them on stage and in her multiple throughout her career.

​

In 2019, her debut album "Reflexiones De Mi Mente" showcased a unique perspective, merging cumbia, funk, reggae, reggaeton, and hip-hop into a resonating, infectious groove that has become her signature sound.

​

In 2022, her anticipated album "FREE TO BE ME" was introduced through periodic single releases like "Cumbia Atómica," "Suavecito Suavecito," and "I Can't Stop."

​

Beyond solo efforts, Adelaide flourished with the Grammy-winning Mariachi Divas, gained prominence on LA VOZ Mexico 2018, toured with Andy Grammer, and collaborated with multi-Grammy Award-winning Ozomatli.

​

Adelaide continues to collaborate with Grammy Award-winning Asdru Sierra of Ozomatli, wether it’s writing and recording with SALVADOR SANTANA’S new album in the works, (musical artist and son of legend Carlos Santana), multimedia projects, performing, acting, singing and recording on an upcoming musical, “PASAJE” that features GABRIEL “FLUFFY” IGLESIAS and powerhouse actor IGNACIO SERRICCHIO, and ASDRU SIERRA which has been picked up and soon to debut later this fall at the SIERRA MADRE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER.

 

Her latest album is a clever, groovy and inspiring interpretation of old duet classics like “REUNITED” by Peaches and Herb, “Islands In The Stream” by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers and others called “CUMBIAS FOR LOVERS”

This album is an instant classic that fuses Latino culture with reggae-cumbia style that translates internationally and intercultural harmony with her music as Adelaide continues pushing boundaries, performing extensively on the West Coast.

Adelaide nurtures many artists' talents and educates them as a private music instructor and voice coach.

Her dedication extends to Show Production Manager for the Latin Candlelight Series. She also has become a prominent director and producer of music videos, multimedia productions and live shows across the nation.
